REASONS WHY

The problem facing Indigenous Australia is multifaceted across diverse community sectors. Therefore the solution must improve upon system thinking.  We have brought together Australian intellectual, cultural and business forces to work together to create sustainable solutions. We are adaptive to system thinking. The problems are complex therefore solutions are likely to be found across the sector.

Our goal is to transition Indigenous people from welfare dependency to wealth creation through participation in local businesses, employment and economic development. The Foundation will achieve this by designing and participating in cooperation with Indigenous communities.

Improvement in Indigenous wellbeing depends upon an integrated approach encompassing the strengthening of community functions designed to reinforce positive behaviour, improve education outcomes, economic infrastructure alongside quality housing outcomes.

By working closely with our Corporate and Indigenous partners, we aim to deliver innovative, long-term strategies designed to generate social impact measurement tools to ensure the active monitoring of our programs. We intend to partner with governments to provide investment and social equity programs needed to transition Aboriginal Australians from welfare dependency towards economic independence. We hope to inspire Indigenous communities to make decisions about their future and to henceforth focus on eliminating Indigenous disadvantage.
